After falling for a bogus online investment scheme, Gary and his friends are left broke, embarrassed — and furious. Instead of accepting the loss, the unlikely group decides to fight back. With help from Gary’s estranged father, a mysterious former operative who knows a thing or two about taking matters into his own hands, they set out to track down the slick social-media scammer who stole their money. What follows is a fast-moving comedy caper about bad decisions, unlikely friendships and ordinary people attempting a very unordinary revenge.
